CREATING AN UPDATED DESIGN FOR SHELTERS

We want to create fully functional animal shelters throughout the under developed countries, so staff and animals can find their happy place and a healthy future.

SEE THE FUTURE FOR SHELTERS
For Sizable Donations Of $5K USD & Up

Our vision, is to obtain the funding to help create a fully functional animal shelters with proper shelter, buildings, electricity generated by windmills, sterilization and other necessities by professionals, trainers, plumbing, architects, contractors and others to help build a place that will house animals properly of all kinds.

A Facility From Start To Finish, Costs $75-100K:

In order to do this, we need sizable donations, financially and of materials and supplies, permits, to hire professionals for animal care, trainers to help create the types of animals people will want to have in their homes, including prisoners to help train animals, for businesses and for such special purposes as service animals for the disabled, companion animals for the elderly or housebound people, military dogs, drug dogs, rescue dogs, cats to help in restaurants with the rodent issues, etc.

All of the above can help create jobs and a healthy respect for animals, they will be well cared for and fed regularly, shown love and will live a life free of cruelty and neglect.

What we will do with the donations:

  • Manage and oversee the projects that the shelters are needing.

  • The monies will be applied to the business and professionals to create the needs of the shelters, and that it doesn't go missing or misappropriations of funds.

  • Creating an online area so you can see where the funds are being spent, photos of the progress, lists of items needed still, etc

  • Connection to the shelter so you can contact them if desired

  • Create jobs for the locals, monies spent locally when available

  • Paying for staff to work at the shelter cleaning kennels, watering, feeding, bathing, cleaning up after the animals in the yards, exercising

  • Fully functional shelters will include:

    • Buildings for the caretaker to live onsite, quarantine areas, treatment and special needs animals, locked medication cabinets, surgical area for sterilization, with electricity, plumbing, bathrooms, sinks, refrigeration, etc.

    • Plumbing and well drilling, pumps, piping, tenacas, compost toilets systems, water recycling

    • Electrical supplied by windmills can be obtained for around $300.00 USD, 3 of them on average will manage the electrical needs including overhead lighting

    • Fencing around the property, 6 feet high, separating out the different areas, play areas, training, etc, stopping wild boars, alligators, boa's and other predatory animals from being able to enter the facility.

    • Locked gates

    • Kennels made out of recycled plastic boards, so termites cannot break it tow, safer secured and more sanitary for the facility.  Hurricane, tropical storms and rain protection.

To each facility, we will set up:

  • Local business donations of unsalable products like food with a rip in the bag, returned animal products, etc

  • Building supplies, plumbing and electrical products that may have slight damage, excess piping, wiring that just needs some adjustments or repair

  • Volunteers to help with areas that are not being met by staff, to play and love up the animals

  • Fundraising efforts

  • Website and Facebook creation, upload photos and post updates

  • Teaching the shelter administrators how to generate future fundraising efforts, bookkeeping, set them up with an accountant, pipeline to trainers, vets, etc

  • Hire people that can capture/rescue homeless animals with a net gun if needed, vehicle to transport, pick up supplies, deliver to the vet, etc.

  • Bottled water supply and delivery

There are many positions that they can be trained for where the care, love, proper medical, food, care in all ways and to a wonderful life and a future full of purpose.

If there isn't a hopeful future for an animal, then at the very least, a happy future to live out their lives in a happy, healthy environment.

Try to work with what the area's location can supply to us to build an animal rescue and sanctuary.

At the very least in very remote areas, the kennels need to be of cement blocks or recycled plastic, which is a huge problem here and in the oceans, cement floor, tin roof and a palapas overhead to keep the air flowing, the rain out and cover the kennels with mosquito netting.  Each kennel needs to be cleaned out daily, sprayed with well water and sanitized.  Raised beds to keep them off the ground and create air flow.  A play area and a place to cool off.

Build one or more cement buildings with cement floors and roof, large enough to hold a few kennels inside for quarantine, vet treatments, giving medications, puppies to stay in to keep predators away, etc.  This building will also be used for housing when a hurricane or tropical storm comes through.  It will have a place for a night guard to reside in.

Secured Fencing around the property to prevent animals from getting out and anything from getting in. Often times these rescue shelters are in the jungle, which creates a large number of various wild animals, including snakes, from entering.  Making areas for play, running, training, bathing, with walls for separation.  Many times these can be stacking stones to separate them. Shelters outdoors where they can lay around and stay cool.  Water pools to cool off, soft places to lay too.

Secured places for food and bottled waters, medications and treatments. This includes a refrigerator, sinks, locked cabinets, locked entrances.  Storing bowls, leashes, harnesses, transport kennels, etc.

To accomplish the above, besides the obvious purchases, many times donations of supplies can be received from the local business, they don't need to be in perfect condition, but no longer saleable, and we can make it work.  We need people with skills, knowledge, strong individuals to work together to make it happen.

Setting up food and water delivery.  A series of Tinaca's for non potable water, well drilled with submersible water power to clean, bathe, cool off pools.  High powered spray wands to clean kennels, windmills to generate electricity that will be free.  Plumbing supplies to sinks, kennels, bathroom, etc.  Staff to work at the kennels, guard at night, train the dogs including potty, poop barking, destruction and separation anxiety, service animals, barking situations, work with animals that need special care, fundraisers and event planning to raise awareness and donations.

Access The Needs

Visit the property and determine their needs to become fully functional as a rescue location.  This includes items that are needed, what it will take to build, appropriate space, locations network of skilled professionals and formulate a plan to make it happen.

Gather Local Donations

Contact local building supply companies, stores, set up volunteers, workers and other aspects to get the job done

Find Skilled Professionals

Determine if there are people in the location capable of completing the work on the rescue, such as plumbers, cement workers, electricians, fencing specialists, etc and if not, we will need to hire out of area and bring in so they can stay in town until the work is finished.

Setup Fundraising

Build a facebook page, website, fundraising events, QR Codes, network with other shelters and rescues to create donations that will help the on a regular basis

Working With What Is Available

Many locations won't be able to provide services, supplies or other aspects to make the shelters others have.  So, we will need to make shelters out of wood, install a water supply, purchase generators where wind is an issue and a windmill cannot be utilized, etc

Complete & Move Onto The Next Shelter

Once the property has everything in place to become fully functional, work is underway or completed, fundraising is in motion and the facility should be able to move forward with the work they started but in a much better way, we will move onto the next rescue shelter to begin helping them, if they need us to attend to something, they can reach out to us for help
