Saving Friends and Leaving Footprints is a non-profit organization dedicated to the rescue, care and adoption of canines in a state of abandonment and mistreatment on the Island of Cozumel, Mexico.

Our motivation at Salvando Amigos Y Dejando Huellas is to make a difference through our work, in a society in which, unfortunately, we still have a lot to learn about respecting animal life. We are sure that by not giving up and continuing our fight against abuse and abandonment, little by little, we will create an impact among the inhabitants of the Island, who increasingly decide to have pets responsibly.

 

Thanks to Mara, the destiny of many animals on the island has changed in a positive way and they have found loving homes where they will take care of them for life, and although it is not an easy task to keep the shelter standing, we have always had the support of many people who give us a hand to continue, that's why we want to make our foundation more known, that many more people know us and together we can continue helping so many friends who need it.

Cozumel Dog Sponsorships

Hello friends, would you like to sponsor one of our dogs? Today we are very excited to announce our “Sponsor a Furry Friend Program”

 

When you sponsor a dog from our shelter, you help us provide for all of their basic needs while we find them a forever home!

Also for those who cannot have a pet at home, it is a very good way to give a little love to a pet and they will feel proud to have a furry godchild in our shelter.

  • From $150 pesos monthly, US Dollar is equivalent to $7.00 per month

  • You will receive monthly updates (photos) of the dog(s) you sponsor.

  • You can sponsor more than 1 dog and for as long as you want.

  • We will send you the registration form

  • You can send your contributions each month through Paypal Donations
